Welcome to the Children’s Center at Gracelyn. We are a Green Certified Five Star child enrichment facility.

Our educated and experienced teacher teams work hard to provide our children with exciting daily experiences where they can learn, grow and develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically through developmentally appropriate practices. Our learning curriculum is focused on play and creative planned learning experiences (NC Foundations and The Creative Curriculum). These experiences are carefully designed to encourage children to learn colors, shapes, counting and numbering, to enhance fine motor skills, offer simple problem-solving activities, daily storytelling and to follow multi-step directions with a special focus on social-emotional development. All of which are developmentally appropriate and necessary components for successful future educational experiences for our little ones.

Our cleaning supplies are certified “green” and we strive to serve organic, locally sourced snacks at all times. We provide morning and afternoon snacks and serve organic milk with the children’s lunches that are packed and brought from home.
